Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MR Casting is a Saudi casting agency and the controller of your personal data.

2. Data we collect

• Account: name, email, mobile number, age, gender, nationality, country and city of residence, and password (hashed).
• Talent profile: photos, intro video, credit videos, height, weight and sizes, skills and languages, and previous work.
• Guardians: guardian name, relationship and mobile number for children's accounts.
• Applications and shortlisting: roles you applied for or were proposed for, their stages, and casting team notes.
• Communications: messages between you and us by email or WhatsApp, their delivery and read status, and your button replies.
• Technical: IP address, browser type and login logs, for security.
• Voice recordings: if you register as a voice artist, we store the voice samples you upload and their details. See the Voice Artist Policy.

3. How we use your data

• Create and manage your account.
• Show your profile to our casting team and propose you for suitable roles.
• Present your profile to productions and clients for projects you apply for or are proposed for.
• Contact you about your account, applications, roles and schedules.
• Keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.
• Improve our services using aggregated, non-identifying data.

We rely on your consent at registration and on providing the service you requested. You can withdraw consent at any time (see “Your rights”).

4. WhatsApp communication

• We message you on WhatsApp only if you opt in. The opt-in is separate and never pre-ticked.
• We use WhatsApp for role proposals, confirming callbacks, shoots and appointments, and answering your questions.
• We use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. When you communicate with us on WhatsApp, Meta processes your number and message content under its own terms and policies.
• We store the messages, their status (sent, delivered, read) and your button replies, to link them to your shortlisting and serve you.
• To stop: send “STOP” or «إيقاف» in the chat, or email us below. We stop immediately, except replies to questions you sent us.
• For children's accounts, we communicate with the guardian only.

5. Children and minors

Accounts for children under 12 are managed by a guardian, and consent and communication are with the guardian. If you are under 18, you must register with your guardian's knowledge and consent. We never send children's photos over WhatsApp, and a guardian must attend shoots.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• Productions and clients: the parts of your professional profile needed (photos, video, professional details) when you are proposed for a project. We do not share your mobile number or email with them; coordination goes through us.
• Service providers processing data on our behalf:
  • Website hosting provider (servers outside Saudi Arabia).
  • Airtable (database).
  • Cloudflare R2 (photo and video storage).
  • Email service providers.
  • Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp messages).
  • OpenAI (AI features): the photo you upload when you request a “professional headshot”, brief texts in our team tools, and message texts when drafting replies for our team. No reply is sent to you without review by our team.
• Authorities when required by law.

7. Transfers outside Saudi Arabia

Some of the providers above store or process data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We follow the PDPL transfer rules and choose providers with appropriate safeguards.

8. Retention

• Account and profile data: while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.
• WhatsApp messages: 12 months, after which content is deleted and a summary (reply type and date) is kept.
• Records we are legally required to keep (such as contracts) are kept for the statutory period.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, role-based access for our team and operation logs, keep secret keys outside public files, and verify the signature of every notification we receive from WhatsApp.

10. Your rights

• Ask what data we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Correct your data (mostly directly from your dashboard).
• Request deletion.
• Withdraw consent to contact or to showing your profile at any time.

Email info@mrcastingksa.com and we reply within 30 days.

11. Data deletion

To delete your account and data, including WhatsApp data:

1. Email info@mrcastingksa.com from your registered address with the subject “Data deletion request”, including your registered mobile number.
2. We verify your identity, delete your data within 30 days, and confirm to you.
3. Messages held by Meta are subject to Meta's policy.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will show the new date at the top. For material changes we notify you by email or in your dashboard.
